The dollar is up against most major currencies as well as emerging markets as trade war concerns persist. The euro is down as Q1 GDP came in in-line with expectations, but German GDP came in slightly bellow expectations. Italian industrial orders were disappointing as well. China reported weak April industrial production numbers and retail sales, which indicates the bounce we saw in the first quarter was more of a false dawn.
