How Do I Stack, Pack, or Palletize Bulk Lot of Computers?

"How do I stack, pack, or palletize bulk lot of computers?" I get this question from many of my customers, so I thought I would make a video on how to stack computers on a pallet. There are many ways to do it, but we find this is the best and most efficient way to transport.

“How do I stack, pack, or palletize bulk lot of computers?” I get this question from many of my customers, so I thought I would make a video on how to stack computers on a pallet. There are many ways to do it, but we find this is the best and most efficient way to transport.

The Science of Stacking

Here at Filmar, we pay close attention to every aspect of our refurbished technology business. This ensures that the equipment doesn’t get damaged, our space is used economically, and our clients get the best technology and service that we can provide.

Just one way that we accomplish this is through systematized storage and transport of our refurbished technology. You can view a video of how detailed we get here on YouTube. This short clip shows our system for palletizing CPU’s.

  • Auditize

As you can see, we use efficient systems across the board to first audit our technology. Every piece of equipment that enters our facility is individually assessed. When we audit each individual unit, we record the specifications, model number, and serial number. This information is recorded along with information on the performance of the machine, which allows us to categorize each asset accurately.

  • Categorize

Once the machines have been properly audited and recorded, they are separated from one another by categories. Only machines that are similar in make, model, specifications, and performance get grouped together. This enables us to store and transport like units with one another so that our inventory is always accurate and we can fill orders efficiently.

  • Palletize

Our system for storage and transport of refurbished assets is simple. Each category of machine is stacked on a sturdy pallet with a unique I.D. number. Using strategic layers of cardboard, we prevent cosmetic damage and undue pressure on the units. Finally, we transport the pallets of refurbished technology assets free of damage to the consumer. Each sturdy pallet maximizes the available space to allow for cost effectiveness across the board.

As you can see, our business has developed a well-rounded program to bring refurbished technology to those who can use it. We are always looking to perfect our systems as a company, and we are eager to share what we have learned.
